In case you didn’t know, the 2017 tax cuts for the rich expires in 2025. Hmmm.
According to the non-partisan and business-friendly Tax Foundation
President Biden’s budget for FY 2025 proposes raising the corporate income tax rate from 21 percent to 28 percent, increasing the corporate alternative minimum tax from 15 percent to 21 percent, and increasing the top individual income tax rate from 37 percent to 39.6 percent, among numerous other provisions.
Yes, you read that right: Biden when re-elected will increase taxes on corporations, and not by a little. A lot. In case you didn’t know (I didn’t until one hour ago), Biden’s planned tax increase on corporations will be the 2nd largest peacetime increase since 1940. Hmmm.
Carlin comes to mind: "The upper class: keeps all of the money, pays none of the taxes. The middle class: pays all of the taxes, does all of the work. The poor are there...just to scare the shit out of the middle class."
And Biden plans to change that next year. A lot. No wonder AOC, Warren, Sanders, et. al. have his back right now.
Now, I’m not saying our current problems regarding Biden’s ‘electability’ come down to only this. The Democrats who’ve come out publicly against Biden range from centrists to the left of center.
But I am saying this:

So, I have a modest proposal: maybe, just maybe, we Democrats should stop fighting with ourselves, stick with Biden so long as he wants us to, get him elected, and start having the rich pay their fucking fair share of taxes.
